The company has increased the size of its site in North East, Pennsylvania, by 130,000 sq ft.

The move has also increased the number of employees at the facility from 130 to 190.

TreeHouse said that the investment “substantially” increases production capacity. However, the company did not provide specific information on the facility’s enlarged capacity.

The North East plant was part of TreeHouse’s 2007 acquisition of ED Smith.
