Sara Lee also said it expects Nictakis to be elected a vice president at a 26 June meeting of the board of directors.


Nictakis previously held the position of vice president of sales at Frito-Lay, the snacks unit of US beverage firm PepsiCo.


The position of president of US Fresh Bakery, the largest unit of Sara Lee Bakery Group, is a newly created post.
