Bimbo acquired the facility in March 2016 and has been steadily investing in it ever since, introducing new technology and spending money on renovation.

In less than two and a half years, production levels at the plant have quadrupled and the number of employees has gone up by 30%.

Its new production lines will handle pre-cooked frozen baguettes for local consumption and export to neighbouring countries.

Currently, the company exports products from Argentina to Chile and now new markets such as Paraguay and Uruguay will be added.
