KEN provides a broad range of washing and disinfectant solutions for a variety of applications within the food processing industry, including washers for:

We manufacture different sizes of washer disinfectors for food processing equipment, as well as drying solutions and handling equipment. We also offer tailor-made solutions to meet individual client requirements.

Our products all have nine standard programme settings that can be altered according to the specific needs of the user.

Washers for large food containers

Developed to clean different types of containers, including containers for dairy produce, breakfast goods, fruit purées and jams, KEN’s CC 1221 features a flexible central nozzle and a washing frame to ensure optimum wash results.

Our CC 1221 container washer has a hot water disinfection rinse programme with temperatures between 85°C and 90°C and steam disinfection is also possible. The standard washing cycle runs for between three and five minutes, including loading and unloading.

Separation of clean and unclean sides can be acheived with a put-through version, which has two doors. Additionally, the CC 1221 can be connected to a printer for documentation.

Universal cleaner for washing contact parts from food production systems

KEN’s multipurpose washer (MPW) has a unique ‘rack and spike’ system that enables the washer to alter between different items within a few minutes.

High levels of hygiene and effective hot water rinsing are guaranteed with our movable washing and rinsing system, as the temperature from the rotating nozzles reaches 85°C, leaving the bacterial count under the measurable level.

Our MPW is environmentally friendly as it uses low levels of water and electricity.

The MPW is available in two sizes:

• MPW-25 with a washing chamber of 2.5m³
• MPW-50 with a washing chamber of 5.0m³

Washers for trolleys, tanks and racks

Efficient, fast and economic cleaning of a wide range of trolleys, tanks and racks is possible with KEN’s Trolley Washer 1225. Adapted for the specific requirements of the user, the TW1225 and its accessories provide an average washing and rinsing time of between three and five minutes, consuming only around 20l to 40l of water per cycle.

Washing temperatures are between 50°C and 60°C, with rinsing temperatures reaching between 75°C and 90°C in order to meet the requirements for a certified thermal disinfection.

A double-door version of KEN’s Trolley Washer 1225 is available, which separates the clean and unclean sides.

EU-certified disinfecting machines

We trade with a number of European markets and export to several countries in the Middle East, South America and the Far East.

All of our machines meet the relevant EU directives and KEN’s quality and environmental management system is certified in EN ISO 9001: 2000, En ISO 13485: 2003 and EN ISO 14001: 2004.
