Computer and Information Analysts Occupations leads by classification in July 2022
Computer and Information Analysts Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in North America with a share of 33.9% in July 2022, an 11.11% drop over the previous month. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers came in next, claiming a share of 30.93% in July 2022, marking a 39.67% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Database and Network Administrators and Architects with a share of 14.41% in July 2022, a 63.44% drop from June 2022.

Top five food companies in North America’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 17.91% in the overall IT recruitment activity of North America’s food industry during July 2022 over previous month.
Bunge posted 41 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered an increase of 41.38% over the previous month, followed by JBS with 19 jobs and a 17.39% drop. Nestle with 18 IT jobs and HelloFresh with 18 jobs, recorded a 63.27% drop and a 28% drop, respectively, while Mars recorded a 75% increase with 14 job postings during July 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in North America’s food industry
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s food industry IT hiring activity with a 91.95% share in July 2022, a 44.5% decrease over June 2022. Canada featured next with a 5.93% share, down 12.5% over the previous month. Mexico recorded a 2.12% share, a drop of 16.67% compared with June 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 50.42%, down by 57.19% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 26.27% share, registered a decline of 13.89% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 17.8% share, down 22.22% over June 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 5.51%, recording a month-on-month growth of 44.44%.
