Australian food processing company Beerenberg has commenced an aggressive push to expand onto overseas markets in order to boost its export earnings. In particular, it is looking to expand in the key markets of China, Dubai and India.

“We have really good distribution in Asia already,” MD Anthony Peach told local newspaper The Advisor. “It is critical to be seen there and to make the effort to show we are active in the market and that we value the relationships we are building,” said Paech, who will be spending much of the next few month in Asia.

Beerenberg, which produces premium jams, marmalades and condiments, currently supplies Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, India, Dubai, Singapore, Fiji and Thailand.
