Food retailer Foodland is believed to be mulling options to move into the eastern states of Australia from its Perth base this year.
As well as revealing plans to take a 50 outlet share in the carve up of Franklins stores when they are sold by Hong Kong parent company Dairy Farm International, Food land management is also considered to be eyeing up Australian Independent Wholesalers, the wholesale arm of Woolworths, Australia’s largest supermarket group.
