Australian dairy firm National Foods has said trading in the first four months of the current financial year has been on track and that it expects to achieve double-digit full-year earnings growth.

The guidance points to net profit of at least A$66m (US$46.8m) for the year to 30 June 2004, compared to $60m a year earlier.

The company said it is counting on high-margin dairy snacks and gourmet cheeses, as well as core fresh milk, to boost growth, reported Reuters.
