Philippine food and drink company San Miguel has extended its offer for National Foods to 10 June.
“The National Foods’ board unanimously recommends that you accept San Miguel’s offer now,” the company said in a letter to National Foods shareholders. “National Foods has confirmed that each of its directors will accept San Miguel’s offer.”
“We urge you to take action and accept San Miguel’s offer,” it said.
