Australian snack maker Arnott’s is to launch one of its top-selling biscuit brands, Tim Tams, onto the UK market.
The launch, due in less than two weeks time, will see Tim Tams competing against United Biscuits’ almost identical biscuit brand Penguin, reported the Australian Financial Review.
In the past few months Campbell Soup Co, Arnott’s parent company, has undergone a major international expansion, with the launch of Tim Tams in Canada and the release of several new products in Indonesia and a range of fresh soups in Japan. The company has also begun exploring a potential move into the Chinese market.
