Belgian fastfood chain Quick Restaurants has reported consolidated net income of €15.1m (US$18.2m) for the first half, compared to €5.2m a year earlier.
Systemwide sales rose 2.7% to €350.7m, while like-for-like sales rose 3.9%, reported Dow Jones International News. The company said growth was particularly strong in Belgium.
At the end of the first half, Quick had 397 outlets, including 309 in France, and 80 in Belgium and Luxembourg.
