Blue Sky Meats, a New Zealand meat processor, has extended the range of meat products it offers its “numerous global customers” through the acquisition of beef and venison firm Clover Exports.

The company took control of Clover today (8 December), it said in a statement.

“Blue Sky Meats will now be able to offer a wider range of product to our numerous global customers with a new opportunity to sell both frozen and chilled mixed sheepmeat, beef and venison containers of product.”

The business will continue to operate out of its production plant under the name Clover Export, Blue Sky added.

“Blue Sky Meats is very excited about this purchase, ensuring growing employment opportunities for Southlanders, providing superior service to its existing and future suppliers and continuing to grow and secure profitability for its shareholders.”
