Working with the New Brunswick government, Unilever chose the Saint John location because of the positive economic climate in the province, quality labour force, bilingual capacity, and excellent telecommunications support.

“We are delighted that Saint John will be the home of our new consumer call centre serving the consumer product-related enquiries of many of Unilever’s businesses throughout North America,” said Kevin Boyce, President of Unilever Canada.

The Saint John centre will handle expected growth in call centre needs for Unilever in North America. The New Brunswick location offers Unilever not only a qualified work force and excellent telecommunications support, it also provides significant operating cost savings compared to other potential locations in North America.
