Canadian food manufacturer GreenSpace Brands has appointed a new chief financial officer in the shape of Greg Guyatt.
He replaces Cindy Leung who has been interim CFO since May when Keith Jackson resigned from the role to return to the private-equity industry.
Guyatt has more than 20 years of public markets, mergers and acquisitions, strategic finance and financial operations experience from the retail and pharmaceutical industries.
Most recently he held the position of senior vice president, finance at KingSett Capital, a Canadian private-equity, real-estate firm.
Matthew von Teichman, CEO of GreenSpace Brands, said: “Greg’s deal experience, financial leadership at both large product and retail companies, and deep understanding of retail merchandise finance will be tremendously valuable to GreenSpace as we continue to develop and grow.
“Adding depth to our talented team is a key focus for GreenSpace as we build one of the strongest brand portfolios in our industry.”
Leung will continue in her role as vice president of finance.
