Chinese dairy firm Synutra International has warned that its financial results since 2003 are unreliable due to accounting errors.

The company, which makes dairy-based nutritional products, said it had found errors in the numbers it gave for the 2003 and 2004 financial years, as well as the first six months of 2005.
Synutra, which makes dairy products under brand names including U-Smart and U-Strong, said it would restate the results.
