UK dairy group Dairy Crest has taken its Clover butter brand into spray cooking oils.

Dairy Crest – which already owns spray cooking oil brand Frylight – said the Clover range would "provide consumers with a quick, convenient and healthy way to add excitement and flavour to everyday meals".

A spokesperson for Dairy Crest told just-food the company invested into its Frylight site in Erith, south-east London, to produce the new Clover lines.

The 120ml bottles come in three varieties – buttery, chilli and garlic – with a first listing in Tesco and an MRSP of GBP2.00 (US$2.99).
