Saudi Arabia’s Almarai Co. has signed an initial agreement to buy an Egyptian dairy and juice manufacturer.
The dairy leader in the Gulf Arab region will officially sign the deal to acquire International Company for Agricultural Industrialisation Projects (Beeaty) when financial, technical and legal audits are completed, according to the company.
A successful takeover will mark Almarai’s first move into Egypt.
