This Eurobarometer poll says that overall support for GM food is only found in Spain, Portugal, Ireland and Finland; with most Europeans considering them “of little value and dangerous for society.”

The production of GM crops, by contrast is more popular, with support being found in Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Belgium, Britain, Finland, Germany and the Netherlands, while there is opposition in France, Italy, Greece, Denmark, Austria and Luxembourg.
