French vegetable group Bonduelle today (5 November) reaffirmed its full-year outlook as it posted a 4% jump in first quarter sales.
Turnover rose to EUR362.7m in the first quarter, the French group said. On a constant currency basis, sales would have gained 5.4%.
Bonduelle said that its canned vegetable business gained 1.1%. The group was also able to turn around negative sales trends at its fresh vegetables business, which includes bagged salads, with sales up 0.7%.
The company said that it remained on track to deliver full-year sales growth of 3-5% and operating profit gains of 5-10%.
