Kerry Group, the Irish foods, flavours and ingredients producer,  is planning to invest EUR6.5m in raising output for breadcrumbs and other food coatings at its plant at Blendecques, near Saint-Omer, in northern France.


A new, 23,000 tonne-capacity production line will increase global annual capacity at the plant to 50,000 tonnes with staff numbers doubling in size to more than 60. The extension will allow the company to handle all of its orders directly without having to import breadcrumb stocks from another of Kerry’s sites in Germany.
