French consortium Origny-Naples has said it has increased its stake in French sugar producer Beghin-Say to more than 95% after acquiring over ten million shares in the company.

The consortium, made up of sugar cooperative Union SDA and beet growers group Union BS, said that including shares it had previously acquired it now holds 95.57% of Beghin-Say’s capital and 96.21% of its voting rights, reported Reuters.
