Centros Comerciales Carrefour, the Spanish subsidiary of French retail behemoth Carrefour, is to start selling phone services, gas and electricity.


Shareholders approved a change to the company’s statutes to allow it to market financial, real estate and hotel products through its stores, according to Centros Comerciales Carrefour’s communiqué to the Spanish stock exchange authorities.


Authorised distribution companies will be contracted to market the services and products, reported StartFinance.
