“The have had considerable interest from potential buyers and a number of offers are on the table,” the spokesperson confirmed.
French reports have identified a range of potential suitors for the company, including poultry firm LDC and a joint bid from Delpeyrat and Findus France.
In March, Uniq appointed advisers to consider the future of its businesses in France and northern Europe after posting deeper-than-anticipated annual losses.
