Tesco has announced a series of executive changes that will affect its operations in the US, China and Turkey.
The UK retailer has appointed Tim Ashdown, CEO of its business in China, to the position of chief retail officer at US unit Fresh & Easy.

Ashdown replaces Jeff Adams, who is switching to the role of CEO of Tesco’s Turkish division.
Paul Ritchie, who has led Tesco’s business in Turkey since 2009, will complete the reshuffle by moving to replace Ashdown in China.
