Vivartia is under investigation from competition authorities in Greece.

According to a report by the news agency Reuters, government investigators are examining whether to impose a fine on the country’s largest food group because it may have broken competition laws.

The report said that Vivartia is accused of possibly violating laws by setting frozen vegetable retail prices and abusing its dominant position in the market.

The accusations are not binding, however, and an investigation committee will look into the case early next year.
