The Hungarian subsidiary of Italian dairy group Parmalat has sold one of its operating companies.

Cegledi Tejipari Rt in Cegled, central Hungary, was sold to a local dairy company, Indefco 2000. Under the terms of the deal, Indefco will deliver 15 million litres of curded milk every year to Parmalat, so the two companies will continue to work closely together.

Late last year Parmalat decided to relocate its internal milk production facilities from Cegled to Szekesfehervar in central Hungary.
