The trustees of supermarket Clubmarket have published a tender for the sale of the chain.
Priority will be given to the sale of the company as a single unit, although some units might be sold separately.
Globes lists the independent supermarket chains Rami Levi, Eli Lahav, Premier Club operator Arik Elkayam and another chain, as potential buyers. Supersol and Blue Square are also interested.
Soft drink company Jafora-Tabori, owed money by Clubmarket, has also expressed an interest.
One group of small entrepreneurs plans to offer only US$25m for Clubmarket, even though trustees Shlomo Ness and Gabi Trablissi estimate its value at 500m new shekels (US$111.11m).
