According to a report by Maariv, sales by McDonald’s Israel in 2002 will reach NIS330m  (US$70.2m), similar to sales revenues in 2001. Net profit, according to Omri Padan, CEO of McDonald’s Israel, will this year reach NIS10m ($2.12m).

Padan relayed these figures marking the opening this week of the 100th McDonald’s outlet in Israel. He added that as of 1 January, 2003, he will relinquish his position as CEO and serve as Active Chairman of the chain. Eitan Ben-Zeev will replace him as CEO of McDonald’s Israel.
