Israel-based kosher foods firm G. Willi-Food has said it expects second-quarter sales to have increased by over 20%.

Chairman Zwi Williger said demand for the company’s products continued to expand.

“We are increasingly gaining traction with new customers while product sales to existing customers continue to grow,” Williger said. “Our financial results have significantly improved over the last twelve months, and our strategy to organically grow our customer base and product line is working.”

G. Willi-Food saw profits increase 29% in 2012 on the back of an 8% rise in sales.

Full results are set to be out on 12 August.
