Elite-Strauss plans to develop its Max Brenner chocolate division into a global chain of chocolate retail bars, in view of increased demand by foreign business entrepreneurs to gain a franchise to operate a Max Brenner chocolate bar.

At present, there are franchised bars in Singapore, Australia, Harrods in the UK and the Philippines. These franchise rights were given to overseas entrepreneurs before Max Brenner was purchased by Elite.
As part of its plans to develop the brand into a global trading enterprise, Elite has started surveying the market in the USA and reviewing potential strategic partners.
