Carrefour is setting out to increase its stake in Italian affiliate Iper this autumn, reported AFX news.

The company reportedly has a 20% stake in Finiper, which manages 25 Iper hypermarkets in Italy, but has an option on a further 31%, industry sources told Italian daily Finanza & Mercati.
