Italian dairy consortium Consorzio Granlatte closed 2004 with a consolidated net profit of €7.7m (US$9.9m), compared to €12.1m for 2003, according to the ANSA news agency.
The dairy consortium, which controls 96.7% of the capital of local dairy group Granarolo and groups more than 1,600 agricultural entrepreneurs from 14 Italian regions, generated revenue of €868m up 17%.
