Japanese retailer Daiei, a subsidiary of Aeon, posted a drop in net income for the third quarter, according to local reports.
For the nine months ended 30 November, net income dropped 72.2% JPY1.08bn (US$11m).
The supermarket chain operator saw revenue drop to JPY780bn from JPY888.45 in 2007.
Operating profit was down 12.2% to JPY3.06bn.
