Harashin Narus Holdings Co is to acquire the Japanese bread and confectionery producer Bon Ohashi Co for JPY8m (US$66,300) on 26 July, according to local reports.

Through the deal, the Japanese retailer is looking to strengthen its competitive power, the report said.
On the same day, Bon Ohashi will carry out a 100% capital decrease of its JPY78m registered capital and fund it anew with JPY8m through a third-party allocation.
