Kellogg has added more snack lines to its Special K brand in the US.
Special K Chewy Snack Bars are available in four flavours and contain 9g of whole grains and 100 calories.
Kellogg has also launched Special K Divine Fudge Brownies in two flavours – Divine Fudge and Heavenly Caramel, which each provide 80 calories and 3g of fibre.
Kellogg has embarked on a mission to reposition the Special K brand, which has continued to lose market share as people shift away from weight management solutions.
“We know that women are moving away from dieting and calorie-counting and heading toward a long term, more positive approach for achieving a happy, healthy weight. That’s why we are excited to offer the new Special K Chewy Snack Bars and Brownies, which will help them stay focused on their weight wellness journey,” said James Sell, senior director of marketing for Kellogg’s wholesome snacks division
