Kraft Heinz is launching a line of beans and pulses, Heinz Creationz, in the UK.

Designed to provide consumers with a quick, convenient meal solution, or as a snack, the revamped range which is available on shelf now includes four recipes: Mexican Beanz, Veg Chilli Beanz, Curry Lentils and Tagine Chickpeas.

The selection is aimed at the increasing number of consumers who are looking for nutritionally sound, balanced meals, by providing two of their five a day in each portion. In addition, the range contains no artificial colours or flavourings.

“Kraft Heinz is committed to delivering new, flavoursome formats that help time-pressed consumers whilst using our expertise and passion for food to deliver consumer backed on trend, dishes,” Umme Ali, assistant brand manager for Heinz in the UK, said.

Research conducted by Heinz showed that the new collection features recipes that were highly rated by consumers, offering them easy, contemporary meal ideas with modern host foods such as nachos, rice and couscous.

“The concept of Heinz Creationz provides an excellent proposition for the retail convenience channel, with speed sitting at the heart of this meal solution, allowing consumers to grab a delicious, and quick central component on their way home without having to worry about long preparation times,” added Ali.

Kraft Heinz is supporting the launch of the Heinz Creationz with in-store experiential sampling and digital media via a bespoke online hub of information for consumers. This hosts a selection of recipe ideas which can be rustled up in minutes. The link to the hub will also be printed on the packaging.
