The first lactoferrin fortified milk powder to hit the South East Asian market has recently been launched by F &N Dairies. Called Magnolia 123 Growing Up Milk Powder its nutrient focused formulation hopes to encourage strength and health.

Tiam Suei Chong, general manager of the company, explained: “Mother’s milk is best for the baby and it contains a high quantity of lactoferrin, a multi-functional well researched, naturally occurring milk protein that plays a key role in the human immune system and helps protect the body against infection.”
Lactoferrin also stimulates the growth of good bacteria to promote the digestive system and inhibits the growth of viruses and harmful bacteria.
