Tesco has confirmed that Sung-hwan Do has been named chief executive of its Malaysian unit.
Do had been COO of Tesco’s Homeplus unit in South Korea for three years. Before that role, he spent five years at Tesco’s then Korean venture Samsung Tesco after joining the business in 2003 from Samsung.
