Marine Harvest has sold its 11.92% stake in Norwegian seafood group Havfisk.

The company sold over 10m shares at NOK25 per share.

Following the transaction, Marine Harvest holds no shares in Havfisk, which is listed in Oslo and part of the Kjell Inge Røkke controlled Aker Group who own 65% of the company.

Marine Harvest did not indicate what it plans to do with the proceeds of the sale. Company representatives were not immediately available for comment.
