Mars Inc has added to its Galaxy range in the UK with the launch of a range of chocolate fingers.
The company is rolling out Galaxy Swirlers next month. Two products will be available – caramel crunch and shortbread crunch.

Bep Dhaliwal, trade communications manager for Mars’ UK chocolate business, said: “We are continuously looking to identify new flavours, formats and trends that complement our Galaxy chocolate perfectly and Galaxy Swirlers is the next step in our journey.”
Mars’ recent product development work on Galaxy in the UK includes the launch last summer of trail mixes under the brand and two other chocolate brands. It also rolled out the Galaxy Crispy tablet last June. In 2015, Mars launched a salted caramel Galaxy.
Earlier this week, Mars announced a move into a new segment in the UK with the launch of a protein powder under its namesake chocolate brand. The company said the move, which follows the launch of protein bars in the UK under its Mars, Snickers and Bounty brands, is in response to “the increasing appeal” of such products to “everyday lifestyle users”.
