Norwegian seafood business Mowi has announced that its chief financial officer (CFO) Ivan Vindheim is to become its new CEO.
Vindheim succeeds Alf-Helge Aarskog who has decided to step down after nearly ten years in the CEO role.
The appointment is effective immediately.
Vindheim has been CFO at Mowi – formerly known as Marine Harvest – since 2012. He will be replaced in the CFO role by group accounting director Kristian Ellingsen.
Vindheim is a seafood industry veteran, having previously been the CFO of Lerøy Seafood.
