Dutch retailer Laurus NV will reportedly raise EUR294m (US$368m) from the sale of a large part of its domestic supermarket chain.

The net gain on the asset sale will total EUR220m, the retailer told Dow Jones at a shareholder meeting in Amsterdam.

Laurus sold 223 stores under the Edah banner to a consortium of Sligro and Sperwer, and its Konmar chain to Ahold’s Dutch unit Albert Heijn and Jumbo at the end of May this year.
