Dutch specialised nutrition group Royal Numico has signed an agreement in principle for the sale of the brands Colon Clean and Pharmafood to compatriot Kernpharm a of 1 February 2003.

The brands Colon Clean and Pharmafood were part of Numico’s European activities in the field of nutritional supplements and are sold on the Dutch and Belgian market.
The divestment of Colon Clean and Pharmafood is in line with Numico’s policy to focus on its core activities of babyfood, clinical nutrition and GNC (nutritional supplements). This step underlines its policy to divest the European activities in the field of nutritional supplements, as announced in November 2002.
