International foods and ingredients company Vion has announced a number of changes to its executive board.
Geert Janssen will be ending his 50-year career in the international meat sector on 31 December, citing the fact that he is turning 65 as his main reason for leaving. Janssen will continue to work for Vion as an advisor on a project basis.
Also on 31 Decemvber Daan van Doorn and Ton Lammers end their employment as CEO and chairman, and CFO and vice-chairman respectively because “they have reached the age that entitles them to do so”, the company said today (21 November).
On 21 November Uwe Tillmann, COO Vion fresh meat and convenience will be appointed vice-chairman of Vion’s executive board. He will fulfil this position temporarily alongside Ton Lammers.
Tillmann will become chairman of the board from 31 December.
