Netherlands-based food group Royal Wessanen is to appoint Frank van Oers to its supervisory board at the company’s next annual general meeting on 22 April.
Van Oers, executive vice president and CEO of Sara Lee International, has “extensive” financial and operational experience in FMCG multinationals, the company said today (25 February).
Marie-Christine Lombard will step down in view of “professional demands of her principal employer”.
FHJ Koffrie will also step down from the supervisory board in view of assuming the role of interim CEO of the company.
Wessanen said it is “indebted to Marie-Christine Lombard for her valuable contributions from an international perspective”.
