Nestle, the world’s largest food maker, has opened a PHP700m (US$15.6m) ice cream and dairy facility in the Philippines.

The company has opened a site in in Pulilan’s Barangay Tibag to make products “appealing to Filipino taste preferences”.

John Miller, chairman and CEO of Nestle Philippines, said: “We hope to be able to help make a positive difference in the lives of our consumers as we stay true to our mission of nurturing generations of Filipino families. We look forward to a successful partnership with the town of Pulilan as we work together for the realization of this mission.”
