Polish canned meat manufacturer Mispol posted an increase in net profit for fiscal 2006, which rose from PLN5.72m (US$2m) in 2005 to PLN8.2m this year. However, despite the strong gains, the group narrowly missed its profit forecast of PLN8.84m.
The group, which debuted on the Warsaw stock exchange in June last year, generated sales revenue of PLN100.61m for the year, up from PLN71.79 posted in 2005.
