Dutch dairy firm Campina has said it is to increase its production capacity in Russia by 50%.

Following the success of the company’s yoghurt brand, Campina Fruttis, in Russia, Campina has decided to install a third production line at its factory in Stupino. After the expansion, the factory, which was opened three years ago, will be able to process 100m kg of milk per year into yoghurt and other dairy products.

Campina, which has an 18% share of the Russian dairy market, has invested US$100m so far in its Russian operations, reported the Dutch News Digest.
