Russian grocery retailer Dixy Group posted a 15% increase in revenue for the first half of 2010 to reach RUB30.82bn (US$1.02bn).
Its flagship supermarket chain Dixy posted the strongest gains, with revenue growing 16.2% to reach RUB25.98bn. The company opened 41 Dixy outlets over the half.
Its hypermarket banner Megamart posted RUB3.48bn, a 15.2% increase on the first half of 2009, while Minimart grew 7% over the half to reach RUB1.06bn.
Over the quarter its like for like sales grew 5.06%, with its Minimart banner showing the strongest gains, growing 7.11%.
The company recently announced plans to open 100 stores this year.
