A top Russian vet has said that it is too early for Russia to restart imports of meat from Poland, according to the Interfax news agency.

“It’s premature to  talk  about restarting trade until experts work out the details   of   the   problem   and   Polish   imports  meet  Russian requirements,” said Sergei Dankvert, head of  the  Federal  Veterinary  and  Plant Sanitary Control Oversight
Service, Rosselkhoznadzor.

Russia banned imports  of  meat  and  some  kinds of meat products from Poland on  10 November over alleged violations of Russian veterinary legislation and falsification of veterinary  certificates.  A ban on plant-product imports was introduced on 14 November because of alleged violations of Russian veterinary requirements.
